Awards Season

by NACAMA ~ January 29th, 2008

2008 is a very special year for NACAMA with this years program on the horizon.

There is a lot going on in the world of Christian acappella music; Acaradio is delivering extraordinary listenership numbers, artists and associated parties are reaching new audiences on the internet, creativity seems to be thriving among artists - but the most incredible development for 2008 is that for the first time ever the Christian acappella music industry will have its own awards season.

With the development of the Members Choice Awards, there is now a second opportunity for artists to recieve recognition. With the awards separated by a mere 90 days, it will be interesting to see how the nominees stack stack up, whether categories like “Album of the Year” or “Artist of the Year” - categories appearing at both programs - will share any of the same nominees.

At NACAMA we can’t wait to see how this year progresses, and we definitely can’t wait for the 2008 Christian Acappella Music Awards in Houston, November 27-29.
